Biography

John Arcaro was born in Montreal, Canada into an Italian family. At a very young age, John was interested in the great masters of art such as Monet, Van Gogh, Sargent and Renoir to name a few.

At the very young age of ten, John began taking painting and drawing lessons both in Montreal and New York where he perfected his skills painting landscapes and figures. John continued his studies at Dawson College in Montreal where he graduated with a diploma in Fine Arts and later continued his education at Concordia University in the Arts program where he experimented with different mediums, styles and techniques from the great masters of art.

John is currently working from his Toronto studio where he specializes in  portraits. Over the years, John has held numerous solo exhibitions across the Country where many have had the privilege of viewing his works and joining him in private painting seminars. John is presently working on private commissioned artwork and planning another solo exhibition in the near future!
